Wellbeing Coaching Program

Our Wellbeing Coaching Program is a tailored holistic wellbeing program aimed at addressing key areas of wellbeing and identifying the barriers to change.

PeopleSense by Altius psychologists assist organisations to proactively support their employees to thrive by providing health coaching. This program involves:

  • Working in partnership to guide, empower and motivate the recipient to change their behaviour for the better and adopt a healthy lifestyle.
  • Helping people think about what is important to them, identify an outcome and get the support to achieve it.

What is Wellbeing Coaching?

Wellbeing coaching is a holistic health program that seeks to bring improvement to various aspects of our clients’ lives. Our health coaches work collaboratively with participants to identify aspects of their lifestyle that require support and intervention, barriers to change and practical solutions to enact positive behaviours.

Our Approach to Wellbeing Coaching

Our wellbeing coaching program is a collaborative partnership between the Altius Group’s subsidiaries to ensure participants receive holistic health support in their psychological, physical, dietary, financial and social health.

Our consultants are highly skilled in their respective fields to ensure the program is tailored to fit the needs of the participants.

Program Sessions

The wellbeing coaching program consists of 6 one hour sessions, and can be conducted in person or virtually(via telehealth).

The sessions can be arranged to fit the participant’s schedule. The health coach will ensure there is sufficient time between sessions for participants to practice the strategies discussed in session, and the health coaching program is usually concluded over approximately 3 to 4 months. 

First Session: Health Screening

  • Discussion of coaching goals.
  • Identification of areas seeking improvement.
  • Use of psychometric assessments to create a baseline of wellbeing

Subsequent Sessions: Developing Strategies

These sessions aim to develop strategies and action plans to support behaviour change.

Topics may include but are not limited to:

  • Managing wellbeing and assisting mental health.
  • Managing sleep and fatigue.
  • Improving exercise and diet.
  • Mindfulness and relaxation techniques.
  • Stress management and financial stress management.
  • Managing aggression and conflict.
  • Building social support. resilience, accountability, and optimism.
  • Changing your habits.
  • Drug and alcohol education.
  • Effective goal setting.

Final Session Consult: Review and Maintenance

  • Review of goal attainment and action plan.
  • Maintenance of strategies and tools for the future.
  • Post measures using psychometric assessments

What Qualifications or Education Does a Wellbeing Coach Need?

Our wellbeing coaches are all highly trained and skilled practitioners in their respective fields.  

These fields may include Nutrition, Exercise Physiology, Physiotherapy and Psychology. Our Practitioners are all allied health qualified and are registered with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and regularly attend professional development to ensure they are up to date on best practices and research.
